Default Fosseway Remote Bleeder Question

Hi Guys

Does anyone have a Photo/s (or installation instructions) of how the Fosseway Remote Bleeders are Connected to the Rear Calipers

Cheers

I just installed another very similar brand. They have a threaded fitting that simply screws into the hole where the original bleeder was originally installed.

very simple, and worked flawlessly.

You’re welcome. I have to say it was the easiest bleed from a totally empty system I have ever done. 6 pumps of the brake and done. Fabulous!

OB
The Fosseway ones are the top, superb quality fittings, large diameter remote sprung loaded one person bleeders etc etc. One of the big advanages of them is tht you never have to unscrew the nipple from the caliper again, so rusty threads, cross threading, armfuls of brake fluid, etc etc all in the past! As you can see if you look closely, I protect the remote bleeders with a bit of inner tube rubber cable tied over them. This protects the bleeders from salt, stones etc etc. Pics herewith:

Hi Greg

Cheers!

That's the Perfect Picture!

Exactly what I wanted to see, so now I'm on the lookout for some Brake Hoses like those that I can adapt to try and make my own remote Brake Bleeder, if any one knows of any aftermarket hoses that will fit from another Car

Two of the Shorter ones would be okay, as I don't mind walking round to the other side of the Car

Which should be 'Slightly Easier' than having to jack the Car up!

So the Search is on Guys, a Brake Pipe at least one foot long (X2) with a 'Banjo' fitting on one end and a screw in for a Bleed Nipple on the other, if anyone knows where?

OB
Go to a motorsport specialist, eg Merlin Motorsport, and they can make them up as required.
