Default Terrible gas mileage and loving it

My xjs is using lots of gasoline/petro but I am not complaining. Actually I am loving it! The number one reason I use so much gasoline is that I enjoy driving this car so much that I ALWAYS take the long route to where ever I am going. This car just drives simply amazingly!

Well, then, is your gas mileage/economy actually terrible, or are you merely saying you burn a lot of it?

One is kind of bad in this part of the world while the other is Completely understandable!

I think that those of us who drive the older Jags (especially the V12 ones like me) are actually furthering the progress of mankind (or nongenderspecifickind for those who are easily offended); the sooner that we burn up all of the fuel the sooner that we can move on to the next stage of our evolution.
It may be a forward step (into space) or a retrograde one ( back to living in caves) but either way it is inevitable and I am a bit bored waiting for it happen.
Don't forget that we only have about 4 billion years until the sun goes supernova so somebody needs to get on the case pretty damn quick.
Although if they use the same algorithms as they do for weather forecasting it could actually be the middle of next week.
I'm doing my bit for the future of humanity!
£90 for a fill up for furthering the cause is a bit steep though I must admit.
