So I am looking for the trim piece that goes on the trunk. Mine is an 83, XJS..... I do have pictures of what I am looking for. It is the rusted piece that is in the pictures.... looks like someone tried to "bondo" the RH side and I would just like to replace mine.

I have an 89 xjs coupe parts car and have it. Is it the chrome piece or ?? I'll take a photo and send it later.,

I think at one time it was chromed. Now it's more of a rusted color, and the one end is bondo'd.... Would like to just replace the thing.

The yellow in the picture is the piece I am looking for, the circled in red is where someone prior to myself tried to bondo it....
