Hi Daim
Yes, My XJ-S had parked in a garage for long time, so exterior and interior condition are pretty good.
But every suspension, bushes, and break parts were totally break down because of long time parking.
Although I've had to fix these problems step by step, and then I have fixed almost of all problem of this car.
I'm enjoying XJ-S V12 taste these days.

Just picked her up from JEF the other day. Still on my way home (problem: the aircon was supposed to be fixed; it's actually worse. Details to follow). Took this today. I think it's clear where the inspiration for the sweeping rear curves on those buttresses came from...
Sweeping curves...

Hi Some day
Yes, my main factory is JEF!
JEF is the most famous repair factory that focus on Jaguar.
There are very nice mechanics in this factory and fix problems with their experience and technique.
I had fixed problems concerned with driving, and then I will try to fix the problem on air conditioning system.
Actually the heating system not working now... So my XJ-S is really cold car in the winter season...
Your photo is really nice! Synchronized Mt. Fuji shape and buttresses shape are pretty beautiful!
I also have enjoyed your word press site. Your Photographs and Writings are very nice!

Your XJS
Very nice photos. My wife and I are planning a visit to Japan this year. I've been there on business many years ago. We're looking forward to it.
I admire you for having and maintaining your XJS in Japan. I struggle to find a trusted mechanic for our 92 XJS Convetible. It goes in tomorrow (Jan 16) for front end and steering rack bushings replacement. I have a long list of work I'd like done including distributor cap and wires, coolant hoses and fuel system hoses but wonder just how difficult those jobs are for an aging home mechanic.

Yes, I took my car all the way across the country to be looked at by Mr. Inoue at JEF. No Jaguar specialists where I live. I don't do that for everything, but for a full check-up so fix what needed fixing, I wanted to got to a well-respected place. JEF is run by a guy who was a Jaguar mechanic for 37 years, so you can imagine he knows his way around them.
For an XJS, all you need to do in winter for heat is run a hose from the engine bay to the cabin--loads of heat!

Hi NCJagman
Yes, Japan - especially around Tokyo area is really blessed for maintaining a Jaguar car.
5 or 6 years ago, Unfortunately Jaguar and Land Rover Japan (Jaguar dealer in Japan) decided to suppress support before around 2000 year model because of sales and revenue down trend, and some nice mechanics who familiar with classic models departed the dealer and started up their own factory at this time. as the result many private factory developed around Tokyo, and many Jaguar fans continue to enjoy their Jaguar life with professional services by these private factory. And Jaguar has prized very nice position in classic car market in Japan.
Hi some day
Yes! I'm same guy who posted comment to your blogs before. I look forward to reading next updates on your blogs!
And thank you very much for your advice. I'll check that the hose bring hot water from engine to cabin anyhow. The most suspicious point is heater valve in the engine room...
