Wheel Torque Specs
I have a 1989 XJS and I am replacing the 15 inch wheels and tires with 18 inch wheels and tires. The wheels are alloy. What is the correct torque specifications for those lug nuts. Appreciate the help.

RE: Wheel Torque Specs
Jaguar S Type 2000-05 95 ft-lbs All other models 1989-05 75 ft-lbs Man that was hard to find! The reason i knew I over torqued my factory wheels was that at 120+ the car was smooth as silk before my tire rotation. Then there was some vibration now. I have an Air Hammer here at home and must have over torqued it. I also have a very nice torque wrench so just for fun i will see what I had torqued those babies too. Thanks Ken for the suggestions, Ken you have a nice website too! I checked it out! |
