Wiper Arm Swap with Someone Driving a RHD XJS?

I have a 1996 Jaguar XJS and I have reversed the window wiper motor so that the wiper arms park on the USA passenger's/UK driver's side of the windshield.

I am posting here to see if anyone is interested in doing the same and swapping wiper arms? The arms are slightly bent to account for being parked on one particular side. I would like to have the ones that are specifically bent to be parked in the other direction. I know that Jaguar made wiper arms bent in both directions based on what side of the windshield they park on.

Does that make sense?

It's not too difficult to reverse the wiper arm parking position. I was wondering whether anyone wanted to have their wipers park on the passenger's side as well. We can then swap arms so they're bent in the proper direction for both of us!

Thanks.

I would like to do that as well. How did you reverse the wiper park position? I will check my 95 to see if both arms need to be replaced. I am going to check with jag to see if new RHD arms are available.

The UK drivers side is still available from Jaguar but not the UK passenger side arm.

Hope that helps

Basically you remove the grille, pull up the motor assembly and rotate the cam 180 degrees.

It takes a bit of timing to turn the wiper motor on and off, but eventually you can time it so the the cam has rotated to it's opposite end.

I should have taken photos, but I did it on a lark. I was in there doing something or other and then I just decided to see of I could get it done.

ive got a wiper motor assembly USDM that you can have your way with.

It's not the motor I'm interested in, its the arms.

I don't think the parts from your 85 would work with the facelift models, would they?

idk. ill probably just pitch it then.
