'07 XK ABS Module Repair?

My ABS module may have failed. Part number is C2P14581, whose list price is $4,100. High price is partially because the ABS Module and Hydraulic Control Unit are a single integrated part. Jaguar cautions in its Workshop Manual that this is a single unit and must not be separated.
My understanding is that a common fault with most ABS modules is a solder failure at the location point of two external connecting pins. Typically, the external sealed cover of the electronic ABS module is removed for this service.
Has anyone attempted electronic repair (solder) of a C2P14581, or is it truly sealed and unserviceable?

Thanks.

I don't know about 2007 models, but on my 1997 model, the ABS control module separates from the hydraulic control unit.
I sent mine to Module Master in Idaho for repair a couple years ago. Cost about $150, turn around is about a week.

You might also check out "modulerepair" on eBay located in Van Nuys, CA

Did mine and the service was great.

Rey,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X150 forum. It's a model specific question and you may get more ideas from members here with the same model.
