07 XKR Newbie..Keep hearing rattle from radiator fan
 

Hello all, recently purchased an 07 XKR with only 37k miles...

I notice that I hear a slow, steady, "rotational" ticking/rattling coming from the engine when I slow down, and this noise continues after turing the car off as the radiator fan (presumably?) comes to a stop. Is this normal to hear the fan winding down for about 7 seconds after shut down? Or normal for it to make any noise at all?

I would not say that a noisy fan was normal. Perhaps the shroud or radiator is slightly out of whack and the fan is clipping it. Or the fan bearing is on its way out.
