Default 2001 XKR phone install?

I recently acquired a 2001 XKR with the wired Motorola phone that obviously doesn't work. I would like to upgrade so that I can use my iPhone 6 through the existing system but am having difficulty finding a workable "fix". Suggestions and specifics for a 78 yr. old non-techie will be appreciated.

Search for Parrot Bluetooth. They make adapters that kind of work. You need to be somewhat tech savvy to install it. After it is installed you need to find someplace to put the interface control box. It lights up and is pretty obnoxious at night. There are other similar products but all suffer the same problems.

AND, you accidentally posted in the X150 (2007-2015) section. You have the X100 body style. davchr is correct however, the Parrot system is what people use for that model as there are no built-in provisions for Bluetooth and such.
