What does CCR mean?

Mine's the same, and it ain't been anywhere near California...
I thought it might be a trim code, but I can't see CCR as a colour. It might just mean "leather", for all I know; the TOPIx info is full of odd abbreviations and references. Mine has "CASTLE BROMWICH" as one of its 'minor features' - that was where it was made, but that's hardly a 'feature'

Lovely spot, close to Birmingham. Industrial chic...
One of my car's more peculiar 'minor features' is LESS SVP - so, apparently I'm lacking an SVP. I feel deprived.
Also, TOPIx sometimes lies; it says SPEED LIMITATION-174 MPH, but the car is actually limited to 186.
Finally: I found a post on a Range Rover forum asking the same question, so CCR is clearly a JLR thing rather than a Jaguar thing.

As most of those things have to do with either interior or the bumpers, I was thinking Colour-Coordinated R-something, but this post mentions CCR FRONT DAMPER so it's unlikely to be related to colours.
Googled CCR, and found a 2nd hand F-Type advert with a list of CCRs (including front/rear bumpers and front/rear dampers). I found a thread on a Range Rover forum, but they had no idea what CCR in spec list is, either. I also found "career opportunities" at a Jaguar dealer in Virginia, listing "Customer Care Representative (CCR)"...
So, are you enjoying your Customer Care Representative Headlining?

CCR - complex component
Meaning a collection of components bought in from the third party manufacturer to the factory as a set , to be fitted as a set to an individual car.
So for example, a front bumper assembly is a CCR 'kit', which depending on the spec of the car could have hundreds of possible variations: colour, with/without fog lights, wiring harnesses, parking sensors, trims, etc...
When the vehicle is ordered the spec for each of the CCRs is derived from the dealer specification of the car and each external CCR assembly is ordered from the third party supplier to manufacture and deliver to the factory as a 'kit' , ready to be fitted directly to the car as it moves down the assembly line.
So when you're ordering the interior and you want black leather, contrasting stitching, or heated seats, or electric seats, etc... the Interior CCR gets spec'd accordingly and the complete interior arrives from the manufacturer in one hit ready to fit.
As you can imagine , there can be quite a few CCRs in a specific car, especially the higher end cars where people can now tailor their cars to their own personal requirements far more than ever before.
Above is based upon having worked for JLR a few years back on a IT project to implement a new factory... the processes required to get an order built and delivered were the most complicated end to end I've ever been involved in.
