Default 2009 XK Diamond Edition

Anyone know how to find out how many of these cars were produced in 2009?
I've tried to look online, but I obviously am not looking in the right place(s).
Just wondering
Thanks for any info you can provide!

Only 1.3% of all Jaguar XK/XK8 Convertibles were produced in the 2009 MY for the White Pearlescent Diamond Edition.

The White Pearlescent paint was the creation and the Carmel Interior along with the "Diamond Edition" door sills.

Other than the White Pearlescent paint and custom door sills the vehicle is the same as any other 2009 XK. But it is considered rare indeed due to the ultra low number produced.

The car was also equipped with the Selena Wheels same as the 2009 Portfolio Edition Convertible.

Are these the Selena wheels?

Also, mine has the chrome "power vents" behind the front wheels, which I thought was only available on the XKR's??.

Thanks for all the information-good to know!

Yes they are and no the chrome is not unique to the XKR, in fact the XKR had a satin silver finish.

Wow, quick reply!!
So Chrome finish on the XK's and Satin Silver finish on the XKR's, right?
Anyone want to venture a guess as to the number of these produced from the 1.3% of total for 2009? or is that even possible....
Thanks,

The Jag looks beautiful. Nice image. My 2009 XKR Portfolio Editon has the Silver Satin side vents behind the wheels. Yes, you have the OEM Selena wheels.

I would imagine the White Pearlescent looks beautiful when seeing it with the naked eye. The photo does not do the car much justice, but still looks awesome. Enjoy the ride.

tnt10,

For actual 2009 XK Diamond Edition production numbers, you can contact Jaguar North America. Contact info is in the letter I received in 2010:

The 2009 White Pearlescent Diamond Edition sold for $93,200. Only 60 of these 2009 Diamond Edition Jaguars were made in Castle Bromwich, England which represented 1.3% of the XK's produced for the MY 2009.

In 2009 Jaguar produced 2 Special Editon models which were the XK8 White Pearlescent Diamond Edition and the XKR Portfolio Edition (which is the Supercharged Model).

I personally own the 2009 XKR Portfolio Editon Convertible. See my signature below.

Hope this answers your question and verifies your car is indeed "rare" or very limited within the USA.

Enjoy the ride, it is beautiful.

Wow!
Thank you so much for the stats. Didn't realize how rare this car was when I purchased it-I just thought it was indeed a beautiful car!

Thanks again to everyone,
Tim
