Default 2010 xk rear fog lights

Hi all and happy Columbus day,
Recent addition: 2010 xk. question about rear fog lights.
Headlights on, press button for rear fog, light comes on in dashboard.
But: the rear fogs sporadically blink, there is no steady red led lit like the backup lights. And all the LEDs don't light. This happens to both sides. Since the xk has another few months of warranty, want to be sure before I talk to the dealer (they have not been great, and I need to find an Indy).
Thanks in advance for any input!

Bad ground is always place to start! then crushed wire, then clean fuse area; it's a blinking nuisance! OR don't drive in a fog.............you are lucky to have warranty still!

Replace the left rear fog light on my 2007 with a reverse light from UK; now have two and it silenced the parking critics!

Good luck, Adrian

Take it to the dealer and have them replace it if it's still under warranty. One of mine failed like that, and I think one of Muddydog's did too. I suspect the first batch of 10's had a bad supplier/batch. Mine are both bright and steady when turned on now. (the one that failed for me was the right one. some of the LEDs would light, others would blink. a couple didn't work at all.)

Thanks - I've got my marching orders...off to the dealer (who, btw, gave me a 'Jaguar Multi-Point Inspection', including external lights, and pronounced all fine).

Mission accomplished. 2 new rear fog lights (and backup, I gather), and they function perfectly. Oddly (although covered under warranty), the left light was listed as $2 greater than the left light.

Thanks again!
