Default 2010 XKR fitting XKR-S suspension

Hi,
Have anyone fitted XKR-S suspension to there 2010-2012 XKR?

I know ride height will be 10mm lower & they say 20% stiffer.

What is the ride quality like/differ from standard XKR. Any thoughts or regrets if anyone has done this.

Will be complete suspension units replaced. Yellow Bilstein jobbies.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Fitted these up on cambo's 2008 xkr portfolio .

The car has a more sporty stance and still rides quite smooth .

Although made by eibach for the xkrs, it's less harsh than the eibach suspension I fitted up in my xk which has the 20mm drop option .

Many other parts are different on the R-S than on the XKR. Not just the springs and shocks

Isnt it the same as the f type? If yes, it is much firmer than the XKR but the handling and traction benefits are massive so you forget about how sore your **** is initially.

If I had to take a complete stab at it, the "standard" setting in the f type (which I think is the same as the XKR-S) is about as firm as the dynamic setting in the XKR. The dynamic setting in the f type is about the same difference again. The quicker you go, the less you notice how firm it is, and even in dynamic it doesnt jar except on really bad roads.

The car sits much flatter in harder turns and changes of direction, and you dont lose traction as much at launch.

This sounds like exactly what I want to do.
What kit is that? Part number?
Thanks

The other guys like Cambo may have better info regarding compatibility with mounting hardware plates, etc or a "Kit", but a quick parts search finds this...

XKR-S Suspension
Front Spring C2P22052 $112.40 each
Front Damper C2P22056 $844.48 each

Rear Spring C2P22053 $112.40 each
Rear Damper C2P22057 $535.34 each

Hope that helps,

Dave
