All this just goes to show; "There ain't nuthin' like a Jaguar, particular the X100's and X150's"

 

I guess some people have different expectations than other people. I also don't like cilantro at all (tastes like hand soap), nor big piles of maggot-infested dog excrement (like every Audi I've ever driven).

I will admit, however, that I've not driven any Audi for the past four years. Won't touch 'em now, regardless if they've improved or not.

 

That A8 handled beautifully, looked great, had very good performance and broke frequently. Then I became intimately involved with the terrific engineering. It was needier than any other car I've owned. My 7 year older 250k mile A4 was less intense and it had no service history where the A8 had an extensive and complete dealer service history. Then on top of needing frequent repair, it was not easy to work on. I'm not afraid of complex cars, but I just walked away and am reluctant to own another VAG product.

BMW and Ferrari have always used really good looking wheels

 

 

Ours was silver with blue interior. Had the cool white AMG gauges. Dad went back the regular MB alloys with white walls. Looked awful. The AMG wheels sat in the basement for a long *** time.

 

Wow, taste is truly personal. I loved the Milano/75 styling and has been a car I have been close to buying many times. Alfa = always look for another....

 

What I hated about the Milano was that it looked like it had already been rear ended when it came from the factory new with that upturned trunk starting at the rear doors. As for the Prius, can there possibly be worse tail lights and rear end design on a car? I don't think so. In my opinion, Toyota intentionally makes the Prius ugly to assuage the guilt felt by buyers who don't really believe they should own a car but want to be penalized while driving it to deal with their guilt.

 

I think it's more the tail lights are quite difficult to ignore, so the uppity-I-Drive-a-Prius-I'm-better-than-you people get recognized easier.

My wife almost bought a Prius for a commuter car when she sold her RX400 Hybrid and bought a new RX350 gas.... almost bought a Prius.... until she drove a Ford Fusion Hybrid. The Fusion is VASTLY superior to the Prius to drive; interior comfort; ride quality; build quality (true!) and in utility. Also, it gets ALMOST the same mileage range as a Prius. Like, 42 mpg City is what she gets.

 

That maw has been a feature for several years now. Hasn't anyone noticed the variation on a theme?

the i8 is cool, but I'd rather be seen in a Prius than the hideous i3:

 

It was a conscious styling choice by someone who was coincidentally barely conscious when they made it.

 

You guys are awesome! Quite shamelessly, I've been looking about for another toy in the toy box and I'm all over the map:
1. Another XJR, before the remodel.
2. Morgan Aero, it deserves me.
3. 80's Bentley Arnage Turbo, have you heard that turbo!?!
4. 60's Silver Shadow... I just love the mechanical solution for all the problems...

And the funny part is; I'm not embarrassed to share this with all of you

 

All good choices but one stands out as twice the car.
Silver Shadow.
Its has character you will admire for few years.

 

I love the i3!!! One of BMW's best designs. Inside and out just incredibly well done. Amazing job.

 

The Arnage started in the late 90's. Was close to buying one as well. Still on the list, but like the 2005 revision; looks way more modern.

 

Never been in one so it may be a great design. Just plain ugly in my opinion

 

Check one out up close, especially the interior. It's marvelous design, irrespective of being a car. The use of mixed materials and shape is just a home run. Not to mention the car has a carbon fiber tub. BMW loses money on every i3.

 

Will do if I get a chance and no one is looking
