Air Bag Impact Sensor Location

I am looking for the RH Impact Sensor on my 2002 XKR Convertible as i have a code 44 on the air bag light. From what I read the sensor is between the headlight and the bonnet hinge. I have taken my headlight out and cannot find it anywhere. Nor do I see the wiring for it. There is a short 3 wire plug which originates beside the headlight harness. The colors are wrong for the wiring diagrams I have looked at. I'm guessing it could be headlight leveling or something and has been taped off for a long time. It is too short to go past the headlight. Any help in locating this sensor would be appreciated..

Welcome to the forum. You have posted in the 2006 on XK area but judging by the documentation I have the earlier X100 XK's had two impact sensors but from 2001 on there is only one.

Not sure of it is applicable to your car as it is for the 2003 but does the attached page from the workshop manual help? The appropriate page from the 2002 electrical diagram is also attached.

Didn't notice that I was posting in the later group, my bad. I will look under the rad bracket. All the documentation I could read about years before and after showed 2 sensors. I do have a cd full of manuals and tech stuff for my model which includes copies for various individual years and they all indicated 2 sensors.
