A wrecking yard may have thousands of parts on other vehicles that will fit, if you just go looking. It may take hours, but the price would probably be about $5 tops. I used to go walking through yards even when I didn't need anything, just to see what they had and what was cool. Many times I went away with some really amazing things.

The Repair
If you ever have Air Intake Resonator Boot fall apart, instead of dropping over 1K installed go to home depot, follow these steps and for 10 bucks and 1-1.5 hours you are done!
Tools needed - Flat and Phillips screw driver, 1/4 inch ratchet and extension plus a 7mm socket for east NON STRIPING way to remove rings, and last but not least a razor
This is the problem, but you cant get the boot without getting the intake and that's 865 retail from Jag.
Go to Home Depot plumbing area and for under 10 bucks buy this. it says 3x3 but it is actually 3.5 ID roughly.
Take off about that much with your razor. From the side that is NOT lipped.
next if you bought the same one I did it is ridged inside. Take your razor and take those off, don't have to be perfect but clean. Trust me you will have issues mounting the resonator on if you skip this step.
Here it is trimmed and smoothed on the inside. It's a hair taller but that's ok.
Mount the boot with the side you cut on the resonator, then tighten the top ring. NOTE the location of the rings because this is critical. The bottom pictured here goes toward the engine and directly opposite is the top ring. If you do this wrong you might not be able to tighten bottom and/or put cover back on.
Note top ring location
Note bottom ring location, use your 7mm socket and extension to tighten this.
Note intake double rings on both sides, make sure you have them low like mine to avoid it hitting the cover.
ALL DONE! Thanks all for some pointers and help. Saved me 990 dollars at least. Figured if I help 1 other person, it's worth it!
