paddle shifters

New guy here, and I just had the aluminum paddle shifters put on my '15 XKR. Yeah, spendy, but I never have to curse plastic paddles again. I will say that I liked the paddles on my C-63AMG better, they seemed more substantial, or had a more positive engagement feel, but the aluminum ones on my XKR look great and feel better than the stock plastic units. Why the aluminum ones aren't stock on a car at that price is beyond me, but Jaguar central never called to ask my opinion...
