Default Best supercharger oil for the 4.2 SC?

Hey folks it's me again, the non Jag guy My 06 Range Rover has 120k on it and I have no idea if the supercharger oil has ever been changed. I never got the service history from the PO so I'm flying blind on a lot of stuff. It looks like the SC belt was changed recently but who knows if the oil was done. I mostly see the AC Delco two bottle kit with the syringe and hose listed as the right choice but is it the best choice? Is there an oil with better protection or...?
Thanks all.

I changed for AC Delco with less than 60k miles - supercharger still works . Afraid that no one did a proper A/B test... So would be really interested in seeing any scientifically proven test of different s/c oils

Frankly - I think it's worth changing it ASAP. Anything fresh will be better than 120k old, stinky oil...

There are a few recent threads on the subject if you do a search of this forum or use google and reference this forum and you're like to find the Eaton or equivalent oil you seek.

Yeah I did a quick search here but my search-fu is a little weak. I found info for the 5.0 SC but not the 4.2.

Better to use the supercharged oil from powerhouse uk , it is the same oil for jaguar and land rover that was put in the supercharged units when the engines were assembled. It can be found on eBay . I know others in the US have used other supercharged oil from another provider without any problems, But it really easily can be found on eBay . A 06 car you say , the problem is this oil evaporates with heat over time and how the car has been driven , So yeah you are well overdue to replace it or their might not be any left lol . Ps it is the same oil for the 4.2 and 5litre cars . But you can google up Powerhouseuk

I can second George 05's point as had my SC oil changed last month, they put in twice the amount they took out, plus the removed oil looked pretty decent snd had no smell. That's at leas than 55k miles

Hi mark, your car will thank you for the recent work . Mine was an older car than yours an 11 reg and around 50-53k mile wise when I done the change , yes a lot had Evaporated but it was dark brown and stunk more than trumps false claims lol Ps. On a side note your transmission will be due a change soon
