Best way to break in new rotors/pads (plus some pics)

Just got front rotors and pads replaced at my dealership, and I'm having that subtle little creaking/grinding sound at the very last three or four feet before a full stop. And these brakes are brand new. Is there a way to "seat" them so that'll go away? It's annoying as hell.

Also, a couple o pics. One is the bays - lotta Bentleys - the other is an XK in the lot. Gotta say I'm just not a fan of those chrome mirror covers.

There is a standard bedding in method that they should have done but most likely didn't. Look on the web for the description to do it.

My X350 had that creak in the last foot before complete stop and the X150 does also. I just thought it is part of the plan.

Didn't have it when I bough it (used), got new pads about 20K miles ago -- aftermarket, and that's when I started hearing the creak.. I figured it was the pads not mating to worn rotors. But now I have brand new jag pads and rotors. Kinda bummed, as I thought that would solve it.
On the other hand, I'm about to start my cross country drive. This time next week the car will have another 3000 miles on it, so we'll see...

Have a great trip, the pads should be bedded by the time you get back.
