Bluetooth Problem
Apparently the Bluetooth in my 07 XKR may have quit. It was working great until a couple of days ago, now it just says No Phone. When it attempts to search for a phone, nothing happens, I click the Yes button, it does not search. I have disconnected the battery for a few hours and get the same result. Is it a bad Bluetooth module or is there another trick I can try?

Did you first go into your phone's bluetooth settings and make your phone "discoverable" so your car could find it?
|
Yes, the car itself does not act like it is searching. The phone had been paired previously.

Try turning the bluetooth on your phone off, then back on again. Mine does that on occasion (iPhone 4). Searching for the phone never works but switching the bluetooth off and and back on again works every time.

I had a similar problem on a previous car. I found that if I went into the iPhone's Bluetooth settings and deleted the car (on my XK it's call "My Car"), then re-pair the phone to the car, the problem was resolved.

I am pairing an iPhone 4. I have did the "forget this device" for the car and all other devices on the phone. When I click the "New" button on the car it does nothing.

Do other bluetooth devices connect to your phone right now? It could be the phone, not the car...
|
Yes, I am able to pair a Bluetooth headset to the phone.
