Default Can someone tell me what this is??

2006 XK8. This thing is in the upper front grill. I'm thhinking it's the automatic headlight sensor. Just got this car, and is first JAG. Thanks

My guess is that its an ambient air temperature sensor.

Yes that's the ambient temp sensor. I replaced mine thinking it would correct the 0 degrees on the screen I get sometimes. But it didn't.
