Looks normal for 72K miles, indicating good fuel trim.

Why did you pull the plugs?
Did you check the gap? Are they all the same?
Do all 8 plugs have the same appearance?
How was the engine running (idle, acceleration, cruise) before you pulled the plugs? What color was the exhaust?

Pulled them just to check,,,
they all looked similar
occasionally I would have slight rough idle on cold start ups,, and I get an occasional
p0101 code for maf that i have been trying to trace. Otherwise running great

Either way, just changed all the plugs ,went with NGK iridium IX,, about 1.5 hour labor
Cold start was perfect so far

Has your mpg improved after installing the new plugs? Does it feel like it runs smoother and has better pickup? Is the p0101 code gone? If so, then it was worthwhile to change the plugs even though it may have been a bit premature to do so.
