Default Over the moon with my new XKR

Haven't seen many new car posts but I'm so excited I just had to share. Over the moon with my new XKR. It's nuts, can't believe I'm going to own a car like this.

Mine came from a major Honda dealer.

It was a very funny experience buying a car that looked that expensive from a Honda dealer.

After the car had been pulled out front and I'd driven it, and was discussing things, every single female employee it seemed had to take a peak around the corner at me.

Enjoy the XKR.

There are few cars that will deliver that sort of performance in a comfortable and easy to use restful fashion.

Mine came from a Mazi dealer.....all they talked about was how much nicer it looked than anything else on their lot. In fact they had it sitting in front of the showroom as a draw.

Welcome to the coolest crowd here!

IRR is my favorite colour for the XK and F Type, there is a reason that IRR was the hero colour for the brochures on the XK update. Both of our cars are IRR and we get comments on how nice it is.

Yeah it was very weird buying from the Lexus salesman who happily admitting he didn't have a clue. Luckily it's not my first XK (first XKR) so was able to fill in the gaps.

Thanks for the kind words :-) I couldn't be happier.

What a GREAT , GREAT car! Those XKR's are such a secret. They cost 10 cents on the dollar compared to new, they have huge seating areas and LARGE trunk /hatch and with the v8 they are BULLET proof for the money.
I bought my 08 used and put 50,000 miles in 24 months , you coudnt kill it!
Enjoy

Couldn't agree more. I know of very little else in the UK that has the presence, power and looks for the money. I really do hope JLR decide to bring it back one day.

You got a hot color combo inside and out with the right wheel design; well done!

Is the IRR paint harder on the older models than it is on '17 XE? The soft paint on the XE is negative for me. I remember the XK having harder paint.
