Ok so I knew that title would hopefully get everybody to read this!? … but I really need help on a 2015 XKR and the TPMS system. If I replace my tires do I need to order new valve stems and the kit? Is it the 315 MHz or the 433 from the research? It looks like it’s 315 but is it the Siemens or was there another or how do I find out which it is? And I really appreciate everybody’s help because I would not have been able to do what I’ve done so far without the advice, help, and the links to buy parts or source different items.

When they did my front tires they needed a new o-ring or washer/seal for the old/original sensors to prevent slight leaks which they figured after the fact when they did the job the first time.

You’re in the US, so definitely 315 MHz.

The biggest mistake sensor buyers make is to buy the cheapest one. It's cheap for a reason, usually because it's been sitting on the retailer's shelf for several years and the battery is on its last legs.

You should run - not walk - from any tire shop that tells you that they're not able to program the Jaguar TPMS sensors. There is nothing to program! Just use the proper 315 MHz sensors and drive.

no I don’t believe so but I was just gonna be changing my tires soon and wondered if I needed to put new ones in or will I just need to replace the valve stems?

I'm going to suggest you consider BT tpms valves and stems. @arenaej installed them App goes on the phone, long with alerts. eliminate an old archaic system. To heck with the purists:-)

I tried to google BT tpms but couldn’t find anything. Do you have a link for the website or anything?

I'm pretty sure mine are the originals - owned the car since December 2015.

No. And even the new (same as OEM) in my newer wheels, work fine. I think only a few are chasing gremlins.

Like the integrated design, rather than those valve stem caps that are easily stolen. But the battery life of 3-5 years is kind of a pain.

You don't need to replace the stems. Owners manual does not cover the necessary steps to reset the TPMS, but it is done thru the "service" module on the control panel on the steering wheel. The Neanderthals at the tire shop didn't reset mine, so rather than make another trip to the shop I Googled it. Piece of cake.

I wouldn't replace them if they are working. NTB/Mavis can program sensors. I've bought sensors that didn't work, so can't recommend that route. NTB had to go through about 3 and found a random one on the shelf that they could program. I'd leave it to the tire shop to replace and program them if necessary. Blueteeth would be nice, but I don't know how that would work with the factory onboard display.

You asked for a link to the item…this wasn’t my seller, I’ve had mine installed for awhile. I’m 75 years old…3-5 years is probably plenty for me!

Originals. No problem. Got an alert, added air, alert off. Changed rear tires. No problem.
