Bill was $800+ to do what seems to be a minor repair. Thank goodness for the extended warranty (small deductible).

No more whistle and BRRRR cold A/C.

I have this too. Gotta get it fixed. So annoying. Although, some days I don't hear it at all. So bizarre.

Bill from dealership read as follows for the warranty work:

Diagnostic Charge: $330
Parts: $75
Evacuate & Re-Charge: $300
Shop Supplies: $85

What I like is me telling them it was the spacer and O ring replacement and they still had a "Diagnostic" charge.

Glad you got it sorted but WOW on the charges. As I mentioned before that was inline with what the dealer initially quoted me but when I asked for a breakdown and the writer checked with the tech, it turned out to be a 90 minute job total and half the cost for the parts.
