Cool Door Puddle Lights, Map Lights & Glove Box Light inoperable

Hello Everyone:
I have been on the war path for a year now trying to figure out why these lights do not operate. I have done the usual simple things such as bulb check, fuse (F12) check, power source check at the fuse terminals (which has power), power source check at the puddle light leads (no power). I am at a loss as to why these do not work when the centre console light does work, foot well lights work. It is my understanding that all these are on that F12 fuse circuit. So why only some of the lighting works is a mystery.

Does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere or maybe a past software upgrade may have cancelled them out. Any ideas are appreciated.

Also, I have a wiring schematic thinking this may lead me to where next to check, but tis a bit above my expertise.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rick.

Have you checked the switch, that detects the door open/close status? Should be in the hinge area of the door (I think, haven’t looked).

Hello There. Thanks for the response. Yes, I just checked now again and there is no switch post or mechanism on the door or frame. Just the wiring bundle from the door to the chassis encased in a rubber accordion tube.

Thank you very much. I have copied the bulletin for printing and will see what my local mechanic has to say. This is likely the source of the issue. Many thanks. Rick.
