What's a 2007 XJXX? A typo? From your Public Profile:
Unless you installed the new top yourself, I'd bring it back to the shop that installed it and tell them to fix it. Because they didn't install the top properly, if you paid them with a credit card you should immediately dispute that charge in writing with your credit card issuer. Be sure to take photos to support your claim of unsatisfactory workmanship. If they fix it to your satisfaction, you can tell your credit card issuer to release the funds. Otherwise, you can demand a full refund and tell your credit card issuer to do a chargeback to that vendor. Read and follow your credit card issuer's rules about disputing a charge.

Under the rear bow of the soft top there are 26 small torx screws that clamp down a curved plate clamp
that retains the rear of the top. You will need to stop the top mid stream to get access. Also this way the top is not under tension.
Loosen but do not remove all the the screws and make sure the top plastic tab material is fully inserted under the clamp while not under tension. Then retighten the screws in the order illustrated in the picture to 4 NM each. This should work unless the plastic tab on the new top has been damaged.
Once this is done you will need to reset the top by stowing it manually per the owners manual instructions.
