Default First visit to jaguar service dept

After 3 weeks of ownership, I decided to drop my car off at the local Jaguar dealership to address some brake shuddering and aspirator noise. I've put on a total of 300 miles on my car since purchase with it now reading a little over 5,000 miles. The service writer called me yesterday to say all is well and I can come to pick up my car. I just drove home today and my car drives like a top without any brake issues and the aspirator replaced. I looked at the service receipt and all 4 rotors were replaced under warranty. All I can say is I am a happy camper! Everything couldn't have gone smoother. I'm loving the Jaguar experience!

So glad it worked out. I had my suspicions that if there was a problem, the Jaguar dealership would pick up the tab. They simply charge back the parts and labor to Jaguar USA and they get paid.

So nice, now you have peace of mind. Enjoy the ride.

Thanks Richzak. I was a little nervous at first. It reminded me of having a first date. Now I feel comfortable for future visits.

You list in your sig your car as a 2010, and you got 4 rotors replaced?! Wow, that's great! I though that I had read somewhere that the brake normal wear and tear replacement under warranty started in 2011 not 2010. I'll have to keep a watch the brakes on my 2010 and see if they will replace them when needed (14k on the odo). I have a Jaguar select extended warranty too. I will have to find out if that still covers brakes. That would almost seem too good to be true.

They might have looked at it as defective parts. Regardless, it worked out fine.
