Gets a lot of creative credit, even in U.S. mass-market auto magazines. ...mmm...however... Giles Taylor is currently Design Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. RR lured him away from Jaguar circa 2011. According to Rolls-Royce's CV/Resume of Mr. Taylor...Jaguar: 2002-2006 Chief Designer for New XK, 2005-2009 Chief Designer for New XJ.

Funny you should mention this. On Saturday, I met a guy at the Winston-Salem Cars and Coffee who had worked for Jaguar as a designer. I had not heard of Giles Taylor until this guy (Roger...didn't get a last name) mentioned that Giles was really the one who designed the XK. Callum had more of a supervisory role as design director for all of Jaguar. Roger said the whole design team called Giles Taylor "David Cameron" due to the fact that they resembled on another. According to Roger, it is Giles (for the most part) who gave us the beautiful design of our XK's.
