My drivers headlight was out after I received it back from the body shop for some minor hail damage. I can't prove they caused it so I ordered a new bulb. I replaced the bulb and still no go. I wanted to ask if any of you can tell me what to check for? I assume ballast at this point but don't recognize what is the ballast when looking considering there is a cable that connects inside the housing to the small ballast on the bulb. I have a volt meter if anyone can tell me if its worth checking the 3 pin connector for a certain reading. I also have the headlights that move side to side (adaptive headlights?) Thank you in advance for any direction to go from here. I don't want to order a new $200 ballast if not necessary.

Mine is a 2007 XKR non-portfolio but every other option available.
