Help with part!
Hi Lads, I was driving and the car started leaking coolant. Turned the car off immediately and send it to the mechanic that my warranty suggested me. They say that the repair is covered by warranty an it was the transmission cooler (or something like that, sorry not an expert in cars). Question 1: Is there a cooler for the transmission? Question 2: They say that is a hard to find piece, they have the car there since last week. Is it really a hard to find part? Where can I get it asap near Miami?
Thanks!
(car is a 2012 XK)

My guess is that there's a leak at one or more of the fittings of the hoses that connect the transmission to the cooler or the pan gaskets.
Your mechanic needs to tell you exactly what parts he needs and either you or he can get the OEM parts from your local Jaguar dealer (probably the quickest, but most expensive) or from our Forum sponsors or online from RockAuto.com and similar aftermarket sources.
