You know there's only one reverse lamp, the other side is a fog lamp.

All 5.0L X150 models, with the second design LED taillights, have two backup lights, one on each side.

The earlier 4.2L models have a backup light on one side and a fog light on the other side. The fog light is part of the taillight that is closest to the center line of the roadway. So, for RHD models, the fog light is on the right rear and the backup light is on the left rear. That's a "made in England thing", where they drive on the left side of the road, for safety in dense fog. For LHD models, the backup light is on the right; so, if someone tells you that your left backup light is out, just reply "thanks" and smile.

If you think the 4.2L backup light design is confusing because Jaguar is made in England, you're right. But we Yanks have them beat, because in the USA we drive on the parkway and park on the driveway! :D. Go figure. :icon_beerchug:

You have 3 nuts that secure the light to the tail section you have to remove the cover under the hatch
