Default How to adjust pedal? Either brake or gas

Just picked up a 2010 xkr. It’s awesome.

the pedal position is strange. The gas pedal is about 1.5 inches above the brake pedal, requiring me to lift my foot completely when braking or gassing.

is there a way to adjust this?

It is entirely normal for the brake pedal to sit higher than the accelerator pedal. The brake pedal position is not adjustable.
And yes, the XKR is awesome!

Hmmm... I think its more a case of your brake pedal being lower. Are you able to pull it up??
AFAIK , the pedals are not adjustable beyond the optional foot pedal control switch on the column. Have a look at the workshop manual.
But if adjusted by the switch... the pedals should be adjusting in unison.

Apologies….I clearly misread your description. Your brake pedal, obviously, should not be lower than the accelerator pedal.

Thanks all.

this is a 2010 xkr.

in thinking maybe it could be old brake fluid or maybe some lines.

going to flush the system and will report back.
