Default How to get the body kit if your Xkr didn’t have it.

Hi guys I’m on the hunt for a xkr 2010-2014. One thing I really like is the dynamic package body work, side spoilers and rear lower spoiler. The fronts all seem to have the lip. Mina gallery use to offer a kit back in the day but it seems they don’t do it anymore. Is there aftermarket vendors etc.. any help is appreciated

Factory XKR-S side skirts are going to cost slightly less. It is not expensive, it is not hard to install.

The rear under spoiler is expensive, such that you might just want to take your time and find a car already equipped.

I do like the look of the factory kit for the '10/'11, especially the painted rear under spoiler.

There are dealers that sell online, you can likely go to the body section and get the factory parts.

The OEM parts are all available from various outlets online but are pricey. My 2013 didn't have the Dynamic Package, so I spent about $1100 to get the splitter/front lip (~$600 for three pieces) and XKR-S side skirts (~$240 per side). IMO, the XKR-S side skirts look more integrated than the dynamic pack side skirts, and the crazy thing is they actually cost less than the tacked-on skirts from the dynamic pack.

Didn't want the dynamic pack rear diffuser and side spats, so I don't know what pricing is for those, but another forum member posted not long ago that SNG Barratt had a few used rear bumpers in stock with those pieces attached.

Feel free to PM me for part numbers, etc. once you find the car you're getting and know what year. The front splitter is different for the 2010-11 and 2012+ models.

Chromey35,
Chris at Mina doesn't have the side skirts on his website any longer, but if you actually get him on the phone, he can still make them as he has the moulds. Another forum member recently ordered and received them within the last 4 weeks. I put them on my car about 4 or 5 years ago including the front splitter, but ordered the rear bumper/diffuser from F/X Designs (a little pricey, but definitely a custom look). I still like the whole package as much as I did when I started.

Cheers guys thanks for all the info... sounds like there is some options , of course the pain is I’m in Canada so shipping duties exchange all screw me. I’ll have to first find the car and then go from there.

Bringing this back. I bought the car 2013 xkr black pack. No dynamic I emailed Mina but no response . I know you said call which I may do... I really like the side skirts and rear valance. I’m a bit younger than the average Jag buyer being only 31 when I bought my first 08 xkr and now my second at 38yrs old. The body kit makes it feel a bit younger for me and sporty.

Jeremy has the Carbon Fiber Mina side sills for sale in the Marketplace, that would get you something similar inexpensively.

Just a thought,

Happy Sunday Morning,
