Injector Source for AJ33 Denso's
Came across a credible source for genuine Denso re-manufactured injectors for the 4.2 NA engine.
They're offering 8 remanufactured units for $199, at the moment, at $25 each for a set of 8, compared to $200+ each for the individual new build Jag sourced part. Individuals are around $50 each.
I've bought their product in the past and have had good experience with these genuine 4-port remans. Local shop here in South Florida.
These aren't the Chinese Ebay junk, but actual Denso's rebuilt and flowtested. Used on the port injected 07-09 XK's. I do not know if they're for the SC version of those years.

Thing is, you know that your son's R's injectors have X miles. However the good the re-manufacture, some might have 40K miles, some 100K miles. If you send them away, you know what you get back.
AFAIK, the X100 had 12 port injectors. No idea what the X150 4.2 SC uses. But if you pull them and send them out, you know what you've got. My 2 cents.

Would you suggest changing them on a properly working 110.000 miles 4.2 XKR or is it just required in case of some trouble?
Thanks.

A better answer for you: If everything works, don't touch it. If you DO take parts apart, change the whole stinkin' lot of everything. It's not worth the trouble to do it again to save a couple hundred bucks, or whatever.

So that listing from Panthera wouldn't work. They may rebuild yours Cee Jay

Thanks, McJag. Nice to know.
I'm not surprised that Injector Planet might have got the numbers wrong, since it seems to be a vin difference.
But it's not clear to me. Which are the actual AJ811177, the purple or the brown? Can you clarify so I've got the right info in the post?
Cheers
