The F-Type looks like one from Arden in Germany.

I take it the 2009 XK didn't have that hood ornament original? The F-Type looks like it has a *****-envy erection.

You are correct, it was not even an option. They both have that same envy issue!

If I was to put one on my car, I'd want it to be at least 9 inches long with an inch and a half diameter. These little ones - apart from being in very poor taste - seem to me to be sending the wrong message.

The XK linked above is the Diamond Edition, only made in 2009. They're pretty rare. Horrible to add the leaper to the front. The car is just not designed for it.

The only one I've seen on a X150 that I like is in a recent post, it was done in black on a black car.

Not what I would do, but I'm also not sure I'd remove if it if I bought a car with it done.

I've liked the leaper, and the Mercedes Three Point Star crest both. I think its a bit iconic to have on a car.

Now if you really want modifications to talk about...

It doesn't show up as well in the resolution of this folder, but the door interior has glue on bling.

Another poor car, cut fenders for the wheels, and a tack on "new style" side vent.

That F type actually looks pretty cool with the little leaper. Long limb XK's don't though...

As X150 prices drop, we are unfortunately going to see more things like these.

Its also a good sign of how much passion these cars evoke in some owners.

If I was looking to cover up that hole left behind by the emblem or add my touch. I would put on the following emblem.

Thanks for the suggestions on how to ruin my car.

It goes two ways, the tasteless that only car to represent as much hot air as they can; and those that genuinely like the car.

The former, a "Ferrari replica" body kit where the owner has manged to put Ferrari shields, emblems, stickers, text, about one every four inches inside and out the car.

The latter are more likely to go for a result that actually looks good, rather than solely to draw attention.

Another possibility:

They're wheel center caps, but can be modified to be a hood ornament. I have a spare set of 4. PM me if interested.
