Navigation reading in KM's

Navigation reading in KM's
actually two minor issues -
First my navigation reads in KM's. It's set to read F and miles but when I set a destination it reads in km's instead of miles to go. The air temp is in Fahrenheit and it is in English can't figure out why it reads KM's not miles
Second - on occasion the outside air temperature will rad zero... that would be fine if it WAS zero but it ain't. It usually wil go back to a proper read after several minutes. That sound like a possible loose connection at the bumper near the thermostat?
Thank you

Your first issue can be caused by a battery reset or software update. The following may fix it:
MANUALLY RESET NAVIGATION SYSTEM SOFTWARE TO COMPUTE AND DISPLAY ENGLISH UNITS
1. From the Navigation System home screen, select 'Vehicle'.
2. Select 'Trip Comp'.
3. Select 'Units'.
4. Select and hold 'KM' for 15 seconds.
5. Select 'Miles'.
6. Return to Navigation screen and confirm changes.
Your second issue requires a firmware update (JTB00065). The display shows 0 when the ambient temperature is 59 deg F.
The fix for that also contains a fix for your first issue.
