Default Out of all the cars you've

May or may not be Jag related but just a question of your past. Out of all of the cars that you've ever owned which one would you like to have back. For some unexplained reason I still have a place for my old 1962 Daimler SP250. What was your toy .

1971 Chevelle. Had lots of fun in that car. Wasted a lot of rear tires. Wish I never sold that damn thing.

'85 Alfa GTV6, miss it, but I think I am not going to miss it if I spent some time driving one now.
'04 Jag VDP XJ350. Such a beautiful car. Best looking of any XJ series car by a country mile IMO.
'11 Lotus Evora. Once you get that Lotus itch; it never goes away. Plan to buy another Evora.

'68 Spitfire! Met my sweetheart in that one. 45 years later and I still wonder why we let it go. Just last week she asked if I could find another one so we could restore it together.

Cars I should not have sold:

1963 Jaguar MK2 3.8 with Laycock overdrive. So much torque and lots of fun to drive.
1969 MGB/GT handled well on twisty bits of road.
1969 Cortina/Lotus MK2 surprised lots of people. The 1558cc engine with dual 45DCOEs sounded so good!

pwpacp, I'm surprised you didn't list your 365 GTS/4 as a car you should not have sold. If memory serves, there were only one hundred twenty ever built and are extremely rare to the point people were taking the berlinettas and amputating the roofs!

It didn't have sentiment involved with being young and in love I guess! The 365 cured me of thoroughbreds.

I've had many automobiles since I started driving in 1969, but three stand out as the ones I'd still like to own. My first car, a bright banana yellow with black stripe accents 1969 Cougar Eliminator would be one, my 1973 German Ford Capri would be another, and finally, my 1988 German Ford Merkur Scorpio would be the third. The Scorpio, especially, a big 4 door hatchback, with the most luxurious interior of any car I've ever owned, with massive amounts of interior space and a huge trunk, when it ran well, was a magnificent big driving car.

Although my '65 Mustang ragtop HiPo was cool, I'd have to say my '67 Firebird 400 HO is the one. What a beast on tires! My first car is a close second though, a '53 Studebaker hardtop.

PWPACP,
I would have imagined you would want that Ferrari Daytona back.
What is it now, a million or more??
Unless you made a million, then hell no, you dont want that rooster coming home.
