Paddle Shift Extensions
What the factory forgot.
Made from high quality cast aluminum, easy installation. The curved design corresponds to the curvature of the steering wheel. They fit over the existing paddles and come with tiny set screws an Allen wrench and 3M double sided tape. I put the 3M tape in, but didn't expose the adhesive so I could easily remove them in case I didn't like them. With 4 set screws (2 on each side, top and bottom), they're secure. And they feel so much better to the touch than the OEM plastic paddles. The OEM paddles retain the illuminated +and - so it doesn't matter that the extensions aren't illuminated. A nice touch for under $35.

P.S. I ordered black and am pleased with how they blend with the factory plastic paddles and other black trim. They're very rigid and I was unable to bend them - but I didn't try that hard.

Biggest difference between then and now is the price. It's now half of what it used to be. Mine fit fine right out of the box.

Both peices are perfectly flat, so the ends stand way out from the wheel. so i bent the tops to be parallel to the wheel.

I'll find the S Korea company, but in the process, I ran across this variant, which now curves with the shape of the steering wheel, and has the opening of the more angular ones I hated. Might look nice...

I prefer the ones I bought over that cut-out style because
1. Mine cost $19.53 less (I paid $29.14 on sale vs. $48.67);
2. Mine are easily removed, since I used the set screws only and not the 3M tape. The cut-out style does not use set screws, only 3M tape.
3. I don't like the seller's name printed on the bottom, and prefer the solid style.
Why pay more? Why buy illuminated extensions, when the OEM illuminated paddles are still visible with the extensions? And why do they need to be illuminated? Don't you know where your hands and paddles are without looking?
