My 2007 XK vert passenger seat is inoperative in all directions. I checked fuses 28 and 29, which the manual indicates power the seat. They are OK.

What's next? I doubt it's a motor, as it doesn't move in any direction. Hate to think it could be a control module.

 

Asked and answered. I read the schematic and found another fuse that controls the seat logic, F9. I pulled it and reinserted it, and now the seat works.

Well, there ya go.

 

Occasionally a module needs a hard reset, and pulling the fuse is the only way (other than disconnecting both battery leads and touching them together, which resets the whole car).

Unfortunately the labelling in the owner's manual is often wrong or incomprehensible - like F28 & 29 in the Central Junction Box being "Passenger seat motor" while 30 & 32 are "Driver's seat module", yet the workshop schematic shows they're all 30A feeds for the motors, whereas the modules are 9 & 18.
