Default For people who had there resonator removed?

I had my resonator removed a couple of months ago on my 07 XK
Love the aggressive sound now under load. But sometimes I think and hope I hear the jaguar crackle and I think it sounds awesome but I'm not sure I'm hearing the right thing.

Do you guys with the resonator removed hear it?

Is this the centre silencer on the exhaust that you've removed?

I had my center resonator removed a couple of months back (2010 XKR 5.0L) and had it replaced with an X-pipe. There is definitely a deeper growl when you step on it without it being an offensive sound. Occasionally, you hear some of the "burbling" on deceleration. I like it!

I had a MagnaFlow crossover x-pipe installed in 2.25``

It shouldn't take more than 2-3hrs for an exhaust shop to install

It cost $280 including the X pipe and installation at a local exhaust shop. It took a little over an hour.

Considering your looking at $150 or so for the magnaflow x pipe you scored an absolute bargain on the conversion ...good work tberg !

Is it possible for you to make a video at all? I'm thinking of removing the silencer on mine and want to see how different the sound is. At the moment I have the XKR back box, which sounds great when foot down, but nothing happens when I back off.

Would like a bit of crackle.
