Talk to Jags Gill at ECU Tuning Group. They are members of the forum. I had their tune on my 12xk and was quite pleased with it. I have not gotten around to having it done to my 13xkr yet. Take a look at the website it is: ECU Tuning Group | We are North America's leading tuner.

Cause its a fly by night operation.
Look through the Ftype section here. You will find a gentleman named Stuart. He is out of BC- and a real pro. he is a Brit who has ex Jaguar factory techs on staff- the only way to do it.

Troll?

It's been 9 days since this thread was started, and no reply from the OP. Just wondering - is the OP for real or is he the NavTool troll under another name? Sketchy personal profile and spelling errors fits the troll's modus operandi. He even snookered me into replying to his other new thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...change-179928/

My apologies to draguarxkrsgt if you're not a troll. How about proving it by posting a picture of the back end of the 2014 XKR-S GT you claim to own, including the license tag and your local newspaper or something else to prove the date that picture was taken and that you're in Pennsylvania?

I suggest no further replies until we hear back from the OP.

Like yourself I thought it was odd that someone would be asking about tunes for such a rare vehicle

Cee Jay 04-16-2017 06:27 PM

Exactly how many XKR-S GTs does anyone think there ARE in Pennsylvania? Could be a name, could be a hint.

draguarxkrsgt 04-17-2017 09:55 AM

Well I like to go fast. I didn't buy it to keep it covered in a garage. Will it effect resale probably atm not planning on selling it. Thx for feedback. I've seen eurocharge is another company that the f type folks have used as well

Show me yours Stuart S and I'll show you mine.

I put the ETG pulley and tune on my 2011 XKR and the results are impressive. SERIOUS power upgrades in the 1500RPM-3500RPM range.

My rear tires have been suffering terribly as I just can't help myself.....I love the acceleration.

I can't understand the hate towards ETG. They treated me well and the tune and pulley have been installed for over 9 months and have worked flawlessly.

It the cheapest horsepower and torque ugrades you will ever do

[QUOTE=draguarxkrsgt;1662241]Show me yours Stuart S and I'll show you mine. [QUOTE]

You're very funny, and thanks for bringing back memories. The first time I heard that line was when I was 5 years old and she wanted to play doctor.

I don't have to show you anything because I'm not the one who is suspected of being a troll. And I'm not the only Forum member who is suspicious of you and why you're here. If you want to see photos of my XKR and XJ, I've already posted lots of them in multiple threads on this Forum.

You have zero credibility on this Forum until you prove that you're not a troll by posting pictures that verify that you own a 2014 XKR-S GT in Pennsylvania. Prove that I'm wrong and I'll apologize. Until then, I'm done playing your game and this is the last reply you'll get from me.

Stuart, you're in Atlanta now? Or is that location near your name out of date?

Stuart S 04-20-2017 07:25 AM

[QUOTE=ArnoldKay] Nm, I thought you were Velocity-AP Stuart..

Hi

I put the RICA Stage 2 into mine and it is pushing 630+ HP with a performance exhaust.

Chiptuning | Rica Engineering Chiptuning

Its ungodly fast - from 50-100 MPH takes about 4 seconds, but the rear tires only last about 11K miles (sigh).

Sorry to resurrect old threads but I wonder if there have been others who used Rica. Looking for feedback.

Not really. Eurocharged and Velocity AP are going to come up here more frequently. Eurocharged like many use canned tunes and several members here have had bad experiences with them not getting what they paid for, Velocity is quite popular with the F-Type owners though I can't recommend them as I had a horrific and costly experience with them and Viezu is another who have supposedly in house modified the canned tune and as they are UK based probably do have a fair bit of experience. There is another known tuner in Europe who recently posted up dyno sheets showing 700BHP/850Nm TQ with a tune on the 5 litre.

So it sounds like most of the "Jag" tuners are just reselling a tune with bolt on parts, not really tuning houses.
I was hoping someone would have a tune from a privateer race team like Apex or Emil Frey off the GT3 cars, at least to use as a tune baseline.

Anyway, I'll look at Viezu.

Thanks for resurrecting this 2017 thread. It appears that the OP was a troll, since his last Forum activity was on 10-25-2017 and he never posted photos of his XKR-S GT. His Public Profile:

Yeah that's a real shame for us real owners looking for feedback on the various tuning offerings
