All XKs and XKRs have bluetooth connectivity. If you open the center storage compartment in a 2013 XK-XKR between the seats at the back of the compartment you will find two receptacles one is a USB and the other accepts an IPod cable to feed into the audio system. If you have something plugged in it will show up on the interactive screen.

Ralph is correct; all XK/XKR models have Bluetooth connectivity. Whether your particular phone will pair with your car is another matter.
iPod connectivity became standard equipment beginning with the 2009 4.2L model year. For earlier years, a dealer-installed Audio Connectivity Module was available.

What if there is music on hold in a phone call?
I am going to give you a $10 million dollar idea.
A streaming music service that you call in.
So instead of searching for then pushing a button on the old car screen for channel 181 (Sinatra channel). You simply speak to your phone to dial by name the Sinatra channel (which is actually a phone number). So you have 100 of these phone numbers stored in your contacts.
Now before you laugh, guess what, data, ie, streaming music is not free, nor unlimited. Phone calls are unlimited. And here is the shock of shocks, its better sound quality. For one there is no latency. Try this sometime. You can literally talk over the other person or complete each other's sentences. How is that even possible when that signal has to travel through your phone's computer (latency) then to the cell tower, then, to another part of the country and again through another cell tower and phone.
