Radio Intermittently Stops

I am finding that the stereo will sometimes not turn back on unless I turn the stereo off before I restart my 2011 XKR. Does anyone have the same issue?
Thanks,
Rich

CHARGE THE BATTERY!
The first and most obvious sign of low battery voltage is pretty much ANY electrical gremlin. If your battery doesn't provide at least 12.6 volts after sitting for many hours, you need to remedy the situation.

First charge the battery using an actual Battery Charger, NOT a CTEK. 10 amp minimum, at least for 12 hours. I'd go 24 myself. It's best to disconnect the battery cables while doing the charge, but if not able to do so, clamp the negative charger cable to the body ground spot in the boot, under the deck cover to the right of the spare.
You don't say what vehicle you have, so I don't know if you have the Battery Monitor hardware which the 2010+ cars have. That's the reason for the ground post.

Take the car to the dealer, get it fixed first time with out guessing and buying unnecessary parts. Usually cheaper in the long run. Too many "penny wise pound foolish" on here. Probably needs the software reloaded but they can tell you for sure.

Yes, I concede. Dealer repairs ARE quite a bit cheaper than charging a battery. You got me on that one!

I took it to the dealer a while back and they could not replicate the issue.

The battery makes total sense. I just changed the battery last week and haven't noticed the radio issue happening since.
Thanks,
Rich

Cee Jay, no one is trying "get you" on anything but you might want some medication for your paranoia.
