Default Rare color

No idea about the true condition but being a fan of 4.2 L's came across this low mileage example in a color I haven't seen in a coupe....

Salsa Red was available across the XK/XKR range in 2006, 2007 and 2008 Model Years. From 2009MY it was only available for the XKR and was dropped after 2011MY.

Ah, good old "arrest me red". I was told a long time ago dealers would order that color for dealership displays because it was so visible.

What's more interesting is the 2020 F type R with the $120k price tag. Is it really 6x the car the '07 XKR is? I don't think so.

I have seen them for sale; but all others have looked trashed.

It seems to me that some of the exterior trim has been replaced with shiny versions.

Yes, the price seems to be too good. My experience in shopping for the 4.2 l would put a supercharged version in pristine condition at a minimum of 25k and more often closer to 30k. But if it was closer I certainly would be going to look at it. 3 owners in 12000 miles??
