Hey all,

I just noticed that on my '07 XKR, the area on the trunklid above the release that says "J A G U A R" is not in chrome like I see on many others... mine is body color - liquid silver. is this an option, or is the chrome version and option?

 

I believe the pre 2010, the XKR's came in painted silver and the XK's came in chrome. The 2008 XKR-S did come in Chrome. 2010+ XKR's also comes in chrome due to the fact the window sills are also chrome. You can purchase a XK Chrome and install. It's pretty easy install as I did switch out to the chrome on my '08 XKR.

I did get it from my dealer here in Chicago. Don't remember how much as it was awhile back. I don't think it was that expensive though. You can ask your dealer or even Dan at Nalley to see how much it runs.
