So, I followed some self-help repair methods in this forum about 2 years ago, and it worked out pretty well.

I recently moved to Miami, and it is breaking down again.

I am willing to spend ~$1K if anyone knows someone in the miami area who can fix. I realize that there will not be a warranty, but it is a mandatory fix.

 

Don't understand why people don't identify year and model (contv. or Coupe) when asking for help................

It's a vert - there's a known problem with the rear windows separating from the fabric top. I think it's limited to the 4.2s, not sure. The Jag fix is to replace the whole top, for $$$$$$.

 

Ditto! I see this a number of times here, and in other forums I frequent. Posters, should realize the make year and model, is relevant at times. Yes, we can figure out it's a vert, but, other facts about the car are necessary to provide better replies.
