Senta Wheel Bolts
I'm getting my wheels redone and the shop needs everything removed before it can be blasted. One of the wheel bolts of the sixty on the car is stripped on the head. Jaguar didn't list just the bolts.
Does anyone know where I can buy another one or if they have any like off a cracked wheel or anything? |
Probably wheel specific, what model wheels are you speaking of?

Was I stupid and missed the "Senta" in the thread name, or was it edited?
Gads, I hope it was edited............................ I don't want to be THAT old yet. |
Finding identical bolts might be hard. No idea of the original supplier, but I found this post. The links to specific products don't work, but if you search for m7x10 or m7x24, you ought to find them.
I guess these are the "too long" BBS titanium bolts the poster mentioned. The design of the head is still different to those on the Sentas, though: EDIT: Better photo https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jag...8ecd774c3a.png |
I have a scrap wheel and can pull some off for the right price =]

Let me see when I get home, I have 1 chrome wheel and 1 or 2 OEM wheels that are no good. The bolts should still be good though.
Will update tonight. |

Well, you can see where the coating was lost on my wheel, that the original is plastic as well .... unless someone replaced them before ?? Has anyone a photo of a removed bolt ? |
I can take a photo later, but I remember they don't screw on/off, they kinda just pop in and i'm pretty sure there is like glue or something holding them in there.

There are references to the original bolts being screwed in: Correct tool needed Correct tool needed |

Really? Have to take a closer look at mine, always assumed (yeh, I know...) that they were metal, like stainless steel, and screwed in. That kind of sucks...

I don't think those are original bolts, but rather chromed plastic replacements? See my photo of the bolts on my Sentas; different colour, finish, shape, and lettering on the face as well.

Whew!! I am relieved too! I have the same bolts on my Kalminos wheels.... and more of them.
DannyJ check the rest of your car to see if its genuine. |
It appears based on the CDW on the bolt, it was made by Cromodora of Italy. The bolts are titanium "rim screws". I can find lots of them with BBS on the head and a different length. Given I only need one, if gkubrak doesn't find them tonight to be real, I am likely just going to buy some BBS ones and cut to length; like these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BBS-OEM-Whe...oAAOSwBt5ZD6lr
