Steering wobble at 55mph 2010 XK 5.0
Recently developed a wobble at 55-60mph goes away at 60+mph
Car drives straight if i let go of the wheel, alignment appears okay
Turning has no effect on the wobble.
Wheels have been balances recently.
The wobble is visible if I let go of the steering wheel
it slightly moves right to left about 4 times per second.
Where should I begin?

Have you had something done to the car? I had the same thing in my previous BMW after putting on two new front tires. Dealer couldn't straighten it out after a couple attempts at re-balance so I took one off at a time and replaced with my spare. Through process of elimination I found the offending wheel, took it into my local Firestone and had them balance the tire. Problem solved.
Could also be bent rim or a tire flaw. If it was me I would use the same method as before, process of elimination, to determine the tire that is giving you an issue so it can be assessed.

It could be any of a number of things including a slightly bent rim and the like. Road force balancing is one of the best ways to identify tire/wheel troubles. It is pretty low cost and the tech can pin point exactly what is going on with those rolling parts.
I have a slightly bent 20" that gives a wobble in the steering at 60mph, we found that by running the tires at a slightly lower pressure it smoothed right out. Of course lower pressures have a negative effect on tire life and temperature so the only real answer for a bent rim is to have it straightened.
