Default Is there a belly pan

Not having ever looked under an XKR I was wondering if there is a belly pan under the front and does it need to be removed to do an oil filter change. Does anyone have any pictures. I do all of my own service so I just wanted to get a general look at what the future has in store. Thanks

The Air Deflector has to be removed:

The Oil Filter needs a chain or strap wrench to release it (this shows the Jaguar special tool):

It's nowhere near as accessible as it looks in the diagram!

Doing your own oil change is easy. Just follow your instincts and remove the bottom cover/deflector/belly pan/whatever. A simple strap wrench can easily remove the oil filter. Enjoy.

With my kids ownership to an Audi A4 I became sold at using a oil extractor for oil changes. Also our old Volvo 740 gives me top side access to the filter not as good as the Audi (top mount) but easy to get at. The old Ferrari was the same with a top mount filter. I was hoping the filter on the Jag was accessible but I guess it won't be a problem. Considering I have a lift it's no problem getting to it . I use it to park a 3rd car in a 2 car garage. Thanks

At least you don't have to lift the radiator like on my old Maserati Biturbo to get at the oil filter.

I'd noticed that same one on Amazon UK.

It's a 15 flute wrench and the Jaguar C2C41611 Oil Filter has 14 flutes.

Be interested to know if anyone has actually tried using it on the OE filter.

Why would you need a special part to remove the filter? I have never done my Jag, but seems a normal filter wrench has never failed to work on any of my past cars, and they are maybe $8?

Just curious....
